Who we are
Trustmark Real Estate Advisory ("Trustmark", "we", "us") advises buyers, owners and investors on property in the United Arab Emirates and Cyprus. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. [Registered company name, licence number and registered address to be confirmed.]
You can contact us about this policy at info@trust-mark.co.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, we collect:
- your name and email address;
- your phone or WhatsApp number, if you give it;
- what you would like to do (for example, buy or sell) and your message;
- the page you sent it from, and the time.
When a broker registers to work with us, we collect the details asked for in the registration form, which can include identity documents where the law of the broker's country requires them.
We also keep the internet address your enquiry came from for a short time, so that we can block automated or repeated submissions.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to give you the advice or service you ask for.
- To take the steps you ask for before a purchase, sale or letting, and to carry it out.
- To meet our legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering checks where they apply.
- To keep our website and systems secure.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising without your consent.
Our legal basis
Where the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation applies, for example to clients in Cyprus, we rely on your consent (which you give by ticking the box on the form), on steps taken at your request before a contract, on our legal obligations, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing our business. In the United Arab Emirates, we process personal data in line with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Who can see it
Your enquiry goes to Trustmark's advisors and to the people who run our systems. We share personal data only where it is needed for the service you ask for, such as with a developer, a lawyer or a bank you choose to work with, or where the law requires it. Our website and client records are hosted by [hosting provider and location to be confirmed].
Transfers between countries
We work in the United Arab Emirates and in Cyprus, so your data may be accessed from both. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we use the safeguards the law requires. [Safeguards to be confirmed.]
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for [24 months] after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires, for example for anti-money-laundering purposes. [Periods to be confirmed.]
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@trust-mark.co. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority: in Cyprus, the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection; in the United Arab Emirates, the UAE Data Office.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work, such as keeping a signed-in session. If we add analytics or other cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page, with the date they take effect.
